Administration Screens are WordPress’s Admin sections. In WordPress Documentations, Term Screen is used to prevent confusion between pages of the website and pages of WordPress Core Sections. To solve this confusion, it’s core pages are known as Screens.
There Screens has a horizontal menu bar on the top and a vertical menu bar on the left side. The top bar is known as the admin bar. It has quick links to different functions. It contains basic information of comments and useful links from installed plug-ins, along with the link to the homepage. Admin sees the Admin bar display on the front end also.
The Admin sidebar on the left has tabs of administrative screens. These tabs have sub-menus.
Admin can use Admin screens to control the website. Other user roles except for subscribers can also access admin screens. Completely all the functions of the website like setting plugins, changing themes, customizing themes, creating posts, and managing core are handled from Admin core.
